    Bright and bold Pagodas, sakura-inspired cotton candy, Shrines and Temples with exuberant beauty, taller-than-tall-skyscraper bamboo forests, a city led by tradition.     There's few places in the world that are synonymous with paradise; pure, uninhabited, postcard-perfect paradise. If you say "Bali" to pretty much anyone, visions of sultry jungle-like resorts, crystal blue waters and endless cocktail menus (and/or yoga studios) come to mind. To some (mostly those stressed and tired of hustling city living), this is the perfect paradise.     Guys, we have FINALLY made it to Asia! Bar that one night in Bangkok back in 2015 *flashbacks of eating fried crickets, eeeek*, we have been saving ourselves for this incredibly diverse and totally-taking-us-out-of-the-comfort-zone part of the world, and even though it is indeed very different for us, some little nuances have made Gili T (our first stop) feel a little like home; a little bit like Africa, particularly Zanzibar (which we explored a little less than a year ago). Our trip to Zanzibar can only be described as a dream.     Having just boarded our 60th airplane in two years (I like to track all the experiences on our trip…about to sleep in our 100th bed too, haha), we thought we’d dedicate a blog post to this still-cannot-believe-it’s-possible form of transport.
