Different from our usual just-the-two-of-us trips, we recently took the Topdeck Travel Trail to the Alps tour, for a group travel experience of a lifetime. 18 days, 8 countries, 14 cities, and a group of 29 strangers who have proven that the best part of travel is the people you meet along the way. The next city on our Trail to the Alps tour was Venice. There are few cities in this world that possess as much charm and character, as Venezia. Everything from the Venetian Gothic architecture, the ornate bridges (of which there are 409), and the mysterious tiny streets (which you will definitely get lost in), to the enchanting masks found at almost every corner, and the cute pasticcerias selling delectable Nutella-covered everythings. You'll walk...

Different from our usual just-the-two-of-us trips, we recently took a Topdeck Travel tour, for a group-travel experience of a lifetime. 16 days, 7 countries, 11 cities, and a collection of 29 strangers who have proven that the best part of travel is the people you meet along the way. The first city on our Trail to the Alps tour was Paris. The city of lights, the city of love, or even just Paname...

Our motto and motivation is to “collect experiences, not things”. Whilst on our journey, we’re aiming to spend our time and money on spectacular experiences, to be left with incredible learnings and memories, not tangible objects. This way, we’re sure to keep our lives light without additional luggage, but also be the change we want to see in the world. Our next featured experience is a day at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney. Place us in an exotic area, with nothing to do but spot wildlife, and you'll have us occupied for hours. Quite literally six amazing hours, which we spent running around in the rain like a couple of wellington-adorned toddlers, spotting every possible animal we could have dreamed of. Taronga Zoo could...

Our next featured experience is a day at the Redbull Hangar-7 in Salzburg. As part of the 12th annual Worldwide Instameet, the Austrian Igers partnered up with Boom Creative Lab and Redbull to take us 30 odd Instagram-nuts on a never-to-be-forgotten Redbull experience. In a double-decker drum-and-bass-blowing party bus, we headed from the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof to our event's destination - none other,...

    BE INSPIRED, Wellness / 14.10.2015

Inspired by our recent experiences of attending a Greek cooking class on the island of Poros and touring Florence in a vintage Fiat 500, our quest to inspire people to #LiveWithLess has evolved to a little more than us simply telling everyone we meet to read James Wallman's Stuffocation (which you really, really should). Before departing on our journey, we created our Wanderlist (our version of a travel bucket list) and recently looked at it and noticed how many worthy-of-their-own-limelight experiences were on it; featuring both experiences we've been dying to do for years, and amazing recommendations from our community, that we hadn't even thought of. As a result, we have created a series of graphics that illustrate what you can get...

Our third featured experience is the annual Munich Oktoberfest. Beers, boobs and bretzels are our immediate highlights, and yes, in that order. Oktoberfest has taken every party or festival we've ever attended, and made it look like a small house gig. The sheer volume of people was a shock to the system (roughly 6 million attend each year), which made us wonder how many...

Our motto and motivation is to "collect experiences, not things". Whilst on our journey, we're aiming to spend our time and money on spectacular experiences, to be left with incredible learnings and memories, not tangible objects. This way, we're sure to keep our lives light without additional luggage, but also be the change we want to see in the world. Our second featured experience is a vintage Fiat 500 panoramic tour of Florence. Have you ever dreamed of cruising through Tuscan hills, passing ancient villas, and stopping only to take panoramic photographs of the beautiful city of Florence, all whilst enjoying the Mediterranean sun through the sunroof of an iconic Fiat 500? Well if you hadn't until now, you probably will tonight. It's...

Our first featured experience is a Greek cooking class at Katarina's Couzina. Baked octopus, creamy Moussaka, and sweet Baklava. These were just a few of the traditional Greek dishes we learned to make at our new friend, Katarina's Greek cooking class during our recent visit to Poros. Upon arrival, we were treated to chilled wine and Briami (Greek oven-roasted vegetables), whilst the head...
