Don’t let the headline deceive you. We did, in fact, enjoy Ibiza and Reykjavik all within 24-hrs, but we actually woke up at an Airbnb that morning – the party boat happened a day earlier. Sorry. I just didn’t want to say “Wake Up At An Airbnb in Ibiza…” – not as catchy, am I right?!

Ok, I digress.

Have you ever actually wondered what a typical day looks like for us? Even if you’ve never read our blog, or you don’t add us to your feed on Instagram, Snapchat or Facebook, are you curious to find out what full-time travel-work-travel-live-love-travel looks like? If not, then you can probably stop reading this post (and maybe go browse our photo library instead 🙂 )

But if you are curious to find out what we get up to when we’re traveling-not-traveling-but-still-traveling, how we get from San Candido to Barcelona to Ibiza to Reykjavik all within a week, what kind of jobs we do, what we look like walking around with four backpacks (weighing the equivalent of a small human) on us, where and what we eat whilst on the road, how we manage to cut costs, and what we actually do when we’re not posting board shots on Instagram or writing blog posts like this, then we have exciting news for you!

After many debates, questioning our need for privacy, our confidence in public speaking, and our (small) obsession with Casey Neistat’s YouTube channel, we have decided to launch a How Far From Home vlog! Are you a little excited? We sure hope so (otherwise there’s no point right?)

So let us just begin by saying that our videography could improve, our editing skills still need a lot of work, and our South African accents are here to stay, so if you can look past all that, you may have found something bright and shiny to fill up 6-8mins of your day (maybe even less, as we most probably won’t be vlogging daily, but as often as we can).
