A place we called ‘home’ for 29 years. A colorful country with a harsh but beautiful landscape; from the rich and tropical forests on the eastern side, to the dry and arid Kalahari desert in the north-west. With sunny Winters and rainy Summers, it’s a special part of the world that speaks many tongues. The diversity of the landscapes and fauna are only matched by the vastly different people – the rainbow nation. A melting pot of ancient tribes and newly-formed collectives influenced by many. Friendly and welcoming with a ‘gees’ for life.
Bush veld sunsets and big city lights. Braais, Springboks, our vuvuzela and the Big Five. There’s magic around every corner, you just need to be curious enough to go looking for it.
