Fresh Content Is More Important Than Ever
With the world having been turned on its head, a lot of media agencies have had to re-work previous campaigns, as well as find new ways to create. Consumers are getting bored of the same old content, and companies like Netflix are struggling to keep up with the demand of new shows to keep people entertained. Consumers of content (you, me, and everyone with a device connected to the Internet, really) are looking for new creative and entertaining content to fill their daily lives.
There Is A Creative Revolution Going On
Apps like TikTok have completely redefined the social media content landscape, and we are now seeing creative executions that we have never seen before. Content is quick and quirky, but also clever and crafted. Some people will not evolve with the times and will be left behind, but it’s up to passionate creatives like you (we can only assume, but if you’re an HFFH community member, then of course you are) and us to take advantage of it, and see what doors can open.
Agencies Need Local Creatives
Travel bans (for obvious reasons) have forced agencies to source local creators to shoot and execute content that before may have gone to a content creator from a different country. This means that having a creative footprint in your location can definitely bring you work that you may never have had before.
Companies Are Not Hiring And Have Laid-Off Millions
Working for yourself has never been so important. The worldwide job market is in shambles, and finding a new job is not only daunting – it may even seem impossible. Job security for many has been a huge worry during these times, and working for yourself might not seem as risky as it was just a few years ago.
You Can #WorkFromHome
With the worldwide shift to allow (almost) all employees to work from home, this has brought with it many benefits. For one it’s safe, but more so, it allows you to live by your own schedule and allow time for more important things in your life, like spending time with your significant other, your kids, your dog, your goldfish, or even your orchid (if that’s what you value most).
