“There are 31 colourful huts found on Muizenberg beach – a popular collection of bathing boxes, throwing-back to the 1800s’ cart-like structures that were wheeled down to the water’s edge allowing the women to change into their bathing attire. Although we didn’t quite use them to change into our bathing sits on this day, we did admire them from afar (and enjoy the shadows they cast in the harsh Summer heat).”
