Background

People’s thoughts on travel changed a lot during the COVID-19 pandemic, and many were very hesitant to travel again when borders opened – not the ideal time to launch Shyft, a digital platform that allows users to make international payments from their mobile devices.

Overview

Over a two-year collaboration with the foreign banking app, we developed a series of engaging social media posts designed to reshape perceptions and “shyft” the target audience’s view of travel in a post-pandemic world. The campaign focused on promoting responsible travel by encouraging better habits for ourselves and the planet, while also showcasing how Shyft simplifies travel payments. Themes included partnering with sustainable travel operators, offsetting carbon emissions from flights, supporting local businesses, staying healthy, eating sustainably, and embracing slow travel – all facilitated through Shyft’s seamless payment platform.
