Coming off the success of previous campaigns with The Luxury Collection (TLC), we as @howfarfromhome – the “preferred brand custodians” – set out to create engaging and authentic content around five iconic hotels and resorts in four distinctive destinations in Italy. With creative direction, photography and video production being our speciality, together with the brand team and the hotels’ concierge teams we created visual stories around bespoke experiences that the TLC hotels offered, like “a guide to the hidden gems of Venice” and “the most breathtaking hikes of the Dolomites”, just to name a couple. The content was specifically made for the dedicated microsite on Explore Italy and its partnering social assets, which showcased all the destinations and brought the various itineraries to life. The campaign succeeded in defining Italy as the best destination, placing the iconic TLC properties at the forefront of travellers’ minds when thinking of a bespoke getaway in southern Europe.
