Most people don’t consider the ocean a fun and relaxing place, but that’s because they haven’t gotten the right opportunity. Although heading out to the open sea can indeed be dangerous, so is any other worthwhile adventure. The joys of setting sail far outweigh the risks, and it's why Chanel & Stevo have this high on their list of adventures to try in 2024. If you've never considered a sailing adventure, here’s what you’re missing out on. 7 Reasons To Try Recreational Boating Recreational boating should be your travel method of choice to explore the sea. There are thousands of available rentals, ranging from yachts to speedboats to sailing charters. Whichever vessel you choose, you’ll get a chance to experience the following...

Our motto and motivation is to “collect experiences, not things”. Whilst on our journey, we’re aiming to spend our time and money on spectacular experiences, to be left with incredible learnings and memories, not tangible objects. This way, we’re sure to keep our lives light without additional luggage, but also be the change we want to see in the world. Our next featured experience is the Topdeck Travel tour, Ibiza Sailing. Sailing is not entirely new to us. We enjoyed some land-less living on the beautiful waters of the Aegean Sea, this time last year, when we visited our amazing friends from Live-Bio. We lived in close proximity, as we sailed through Greek islands, learning how one hand always belongs to the boat, and how...

    BE INSPIRED, Wellness / 14.10.2015

Inspired by our recent experiences of attending a Greek cooking class on the island of Poros and touring Florence in a vintage Fiat 500, our quest to inspire people to #LiveWithLess has evolved to a little more than us simply telling everyone we meet to read James Wallman's Stuffocation (which you really, really should). Before departing on our journey, we created our Wanderlist (our version of a travel bucket list) and recently looked at it and noticed how many worthy-of-their-own-limelight experiences were on it; featuring both experiences we've been dying to do for years, and amazing recommendations from our community, that we hadn't even thought of. As a result, we have created a series of graphics that illustrate what you can get...

    Greece / 26.08.2015

I recall waking up at 6am to the sound of cicadas on a nearby island. Opening my eyes, I saw perfectly blue skies, and felt morning dew on my feet. I looked over at Stevo lying next to me, and realized that we had just spent our first night on a sailing boat, drifting gently to the wake of the Aegean Sea. This was the first of four nights we would spend on Naziara, the floating vessel we would temporarily call home. In an attempt to tick off number 7 from our Wanderlist, (sail through the Greek isles), we visited our friends from Live-Bio to enjoy three beautiful weeks exploring the Peloponnese. From 40 degree walks through olive groves, and sunset yoga classes on the...
