Do you want to set out on the open road with friends but are nervous you won’t get the most out of your route? With careful planning and creative thinking, you can make any trip one of the most memorable experiences you’ll ever have. Chanel and Stevo are huge fans of road trips (which is why they spent so much time and energy on getting #TheBadger🚐 just right) so if you too want to embrace the open road, read on...

As we enjoy the smells and feels of Summer approaching us here in South Africa, a lot of our readers are getting ready for Winter already. Many people across North America are dreaming about the coming snow and exploring the beautiful winter wonderland in a post-lockdown world, so today's post is for all of y'all planning some upcoming skiing adventures. Let's start off by saying that the two best ways to enjoy the snow are flying down the slopes on a set of skis (or so we've been told, as our experience in speedy skis is limited to the training slopes of Finland) or gliding across the snow on a cross-country skiing adventure (like that time we did it when visiting...

    New York / 17.11.2019

New York is (as POTUS puts it) “HUUUUGE” and there is no shortage of things to do. If you love food, New York can offer you any kind of cuisine your taste buds desire; if you love night life, there are shiny bars and clubs around every corner; if you love the performing arts, well, the city currently has forty-one Broadway theatres, so take your pick; and if you love sightseeing, there is certainly no shortage of things to see and explore. We’ve been fortunate enough to visit...

The temperature is dropping, coating the Green Mountains with blankets of fog. Wafts of apple cider and maple syrup (ALL the maple syrup) fill the air around the cute stops on the side of the road (which are all dressed up for the Halloween festivities). Does it get any more quaint (or picturesque) than that?     Renting a car should be mandatory, because there’s really no better way...

As originally seen on Traveller24   It’s been a crazy, wild, unforgettable (and slightly unbelievable) journey, travelling full-time for nearly three years. We’ve done some extraordinary things, and we’ve been to places we hadn’t even heard of when we left on our trip in March 2015. But every great journey starts somewhere, and for us, it was our Wanderlist (our own affectionate term for our traveling Bucket List) that turned our “someday” dream into a tangible trip of a lifetime. Back in early 2014 (when traveling around the world was a mere figment of our ambitious imagination), we decided to write down on a piece of paper, all the wonderful dreamy things we’ve always wanted to do (you know, in case we ended...
