Mauritius is one of those exotic places you can only dream of visiting. Situated in the heart of the Indian Ocean, its warm and tropical climate is a Honeymooners dream, but there’s of course lots to see and do on this magical island besides just lazying around. As you can imagine, we are traveling on a super tight budget. Any costs we can cut, we will do our best to do so. That being said, though, there are two things we spoil ourselves with in each and every city. Half the fun of travel, as we’ve seen with our recent trips through East Africa, Central Europe, Austria's Winter Wonderland and now Mauritius, is that it’s the people you meet and get to spend time with, that really make the trip.
