    If you’ve ever wondered what time of year to visit Vermont, let us come right out and say that it HAS to be Autumn. The white steeples of the chapels and churches are popping in the charming towns of Manchester and Burlington, in perfect contrast to the nature show of burnt orange and red. The temperature is dropping, coating the Green Mountains with blankets of fog. Wafts of apple cider and maple syrup (ALL the maple syrup) fill the air around the cute stops on the side of the road (which are all dressed up for the Halloween festivities).     It’s safe to say that we’ve spent more time in Auckland than any other city on our travels. It wasn’t planned - it just happened to work out that way…and a lot can happen in 8 weeks, so I’m going to try summarise our adventure, as best as I can. Here goes! We spent the first six weeks looking after an amazing German Shepherd named Maddie (we miss you already Maddie <3), while her owner was away on holiday, allowing us the opportunity to live in Western Auckland in the Waitakere Regional Park (a.k.a The Waitak’s, as it’s known by the locals) for free - side note: the home was INCREDIBLE and we honestly felt like we’d struck house-sitter gold – a...

    From family wedding bells in kangaroo-filled nature parks, and boat rides across aquamarine waters surrounding deserted islands, to wine farm hopping and beach dune camping, our trip to Western Australia has been one for the record books.   WEDDING BELLS IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA   Our final stop in the Australian leg of this trip, after two high-class weeks in Sydney, was filled with festivities, quite literally, for days. Stevo's oldest brother got married on November 7th at the gorgeous Serpentine Retreat Centre. With a sunset ceremony and some chilling acapella performances from the cover band, we danced the night away (and stuffed our faces the Spanish way with possibly the best paella I had ever tasted, from the Olè Paella catering crew).
